3rd Graders Make Plot to Attack Teacher

Being a future teacher, this story shocked me. At Center Elementary School in Waycross, Georgia, a couple of 3rd graders made a plot to harm one of their teachers. The students went as far as bringing knives, duct tape, and handcuffs to school. They don't know how far these boys were planning to go with this plot, but it's scary to think that 8 and 9 years old boys would even come up with something like this.

What? I can't believe the dangerous and stupid things people are doing these days. The scary thing is that the age of the criminals is getting lower and lower. How are these parents bringing their kids up? I'm still in disbelief that 3rd graders were thinking of doing something like this.

What?!?! I didn't hear about this story yet. This is insane! I would have never thought that elementary students could go as far as harming their teachers. When I was in elementary school, I know that I looked up to my teachers and I never would have tried to attack them. What is this world coming to???

Wow, that is really scary. Its amazing how young children learn some of the things that they do. Usually in third grade the students love their teachers no matter what happens. Even if they have a bad day the next day starts a new day and they forget about what happened the day before. I guess times are changing and these are things we need to be aware of.

I can not understand what is up with these kids. Their parents might be the problem or maybe they watch too much TV. These kids got this idea from somewhere. The school and the parents need to find out were the idea came from and put a stop to this happing in the future. I hope the kids will learn from this and never do any thing like this again. We are going to be teachers soon and we need to be aware of these things. Thanks for the info.

I heard about the tragic event of the elementary class ganging up on the teacher. This event is rare but a possibility as proven by the experience. If I were in that teachers shoes, my bows would have been flying despite the age of the children. A group of young kids has potential to be dangerous. Young kids are packed with energy and have power when uniting. Maybe high school teachers are safer than elementary teachers after all.
